New Delhi: In the atmospheric surroundings of Neem Haveli & Cultural Centre, nestled in the historic lanes of Chandni Chowk, food lovers, historians and cultural enthusiasts will gather for The Living Table, an immersive evening celebrating the rich culinary heritage of North India through conversation, storytelling and an experiential dining experience.
Presented by Inkpot India, The Living Table explores how the story of North Indian cuisine is inseparable from the story of our shared heritage. From the bustling kitchens of undivided India to the iconic dishes that define Indian cuisine today, every recipe carries generations of memory, migration and tradition.
The evening will feature an engaging conversation between celebrated culinary historian Salma Husain, acclaimed author and chef Sadaf Hussain, and renowned celebrity chef, author and custodian of the legendary Moti Mahal legacy, Monish Gujral. Together, they will revisit the fascinating journey of North Indian cuisine, discussing how the Partition reshaped food traditions, preserved culinary memories and gave birth to some of India’s most celebrated dishes.

Adding a unique dimension to the evening will be an exclusive experiential menu curated by Monish Gujral, bringing alive the timeless flavours of Moti Mahal. The specially designed dinner will showcase iconic dishes inspired by journeys across undivided India, celebrating recipes that have travelled through generations while continuing to define India’s culinary identity.
