Eid Mubarak

On this happy occasion and festival I am sharing a seviyan recipe which I have innovated for you all to celebrate Eid

Wishing you all happy Eid and health , peace and prosperity

Yes ! It’s vermicelli fig pie

So lets get cooking

Recipe seviyan2 cup seviyan ( vermacili)1 cup soaked and mashed figs1/2 tsp cardamom seeds1 tbsp soaked raisins4 tbsp desi ghee( clarified butter)1/4 cup powdered sugar
In a pan heat 2 tbsp ghee and roast the vermacili till goldenAdd sugar and water and let it simmer till vermacili is tenderRemove from heatIn a pan add 2 tbsp ghee and add cardamomAdd fig and saute tillghee leaves side Add raisins Remove from fireIn a serving dish set half of the vermacili at the bottom and press gentlyPut the fig halwa on it Top wil remaining vermacili over the halwa and serve hot
