Creamy kulfi

Indian ice cream as its often called in the west . One of all time favourite desserts .Although numerous recipes are available to make this dessert at home but the one I am sharing can pass of as the most easiest recipe of kulfi in the world and of course the most tastiest as well

Ingredients

2 cup milk

2 tbsp sugar

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

4-5 strands saffron

4 slices of bread with edges chopped off

2 tbsp chopped nuts for garnish

Method

Powder the bread slices in the blender and keep aside

I a bowl bring the milk to boil

Add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron

Stir in the bread and cook for 3-4 minutes till the mixture thickens

Remove from heat and pour in a glass or aluminium container

Garnish with chopped nuts

Deep freeze overnight

Before serving put in the fridge for about 30 minutes
