Red Wine Chicken Recipe

- 500 gm Chicken breast boneless
- 3/4 cup aromatic red wine
- 1/2 tbsp Chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 tbsp Red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Black pepper coarsely ground
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- Oil, for frying
- 1 chopped red capsicum
Instructions
- Place chicken in a glass bowl. Pour wine all over and mix well. Cover dish or bowl and refrigerate to marinate for at least 2 to 3 hours.
- Remove chicken breasts from marinade, discarding remaining liquid.
- Season with basil, red chilli powder, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a medium-sized fry pan over medium high heat.
- Add chicken and saute on each side for about 20 minutes until its a nice brownish-red colour.
- Add chopped capsicum and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Remove and serve hot with rice.
