Ingredients
- 1 cup Kidney beans (rajmah)
- 1 large chopped onions
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 1 tsp garlic grated
- 1 tbsp ginger, garlic and onion paste
- 2 Cloves
- 1/2 Cinnamon
- 2 small peices Cardamom green
- green chilies chopped according to taste
- salt to taste
- pinch of sugar
- bread slices for binding
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- oil/ butter for sauteing
- 1 Capsicum(Shimla mirch) chopped
- 1 tbsp Kitchen King Powder
Instructions
- Soak the rajma overnight and pressure cook them. Add in a food processor and roughly grind.
- In a pan, add the oil, the garam masala and let them pop.Add the grated ginger and garlic, then add the onions. Add salt and sugar and let the onions caramelize. Add the chilies.
- Add the capsicum and stir, now add the rajmah. Add kitchen king masala. stir for another 5 minutes and add the cilantro. Set the mixture aside to cool.
- To make the patty, add crushed slices of white bread to the mixture, this will help it bind better and form a tight patty. Now divide the mix evenly into balls and flatten to form a patty.
- Heat oil in a pan to shallow fry and gently place the rajma patty. Fry till crisp on both sides.
- Assemble the burgers with some lettuce, tomatoes and green coriander chutney.
