This is my twist on the traditional curd rice. Replacing oats with rice makes this dish super light and a great breakfast option.

    This is my twist on the traditional curd rice. Replacing oats with rice makes this dish super light and a great breakfast option.

    Ingredients

    1. Add hot water to the oats to cook it.
    2. Let it cool.
    3. Beat the curd with salt and all the vegetables and mix the oats.
    4. For the tadka, heat oil in a an and add rye, cumin. When they start popping add urad dal and saute.
    5. Add grated ginger, curry leaves, chilies ,onions and saute and add hing.
    6. Pour the tadka on the oats and curd mix. Garnish with fresh coriander. Mix well and serve.
