  1. Wash and soak the rown rice, quinoa for 4-5 hours. Wash and soak urad dal for 2 hours. Soak everything separately
  2. Grind urad dal separately. Keep adding water in the mixture. Batter's texture should be light and fluffy. Transfer the dal into a closed container.
  3. Grind rice and quinoa separately until you get a smooth batter. Add salt and let it ferment overnight.
  4. Prepare the idli moulds. Grease with oil or ghee with oil. Add a ladle full of batter in each.
  5. The idlis can be microwaved or pressure cooked for 10mins. Serve hot with peanut chutney and sambar.
